Al Ahly's head of medical staff Dr. Ahmed Abu Abla planned out a recovery program for Ali Maaloul in order to prepare him for our game against Palmeiras in the third-place playoff of the FIFA Club World Cup.
“Maaloul’s condition is good and we are currently working on his recovery. He still has chances to play against the Brazilian side, but the final decision will be taken in the upcoming hours", Abu Abla added.
Maaloul is currently performing his recovery program in order to be available for the team in Thursday’s game.
Al Ahly’s Tunisian defender was forced to leave the game against FC Bayern Munich in the FIFA Club World semi finals, after suffering fatigue in his hamstring muscle.
